Guidance Strategies for School-Age Children: Supporting Emotional Growth and Conflict Resolution

This workshop focuses on developmentally appropriate practices for school-age children, offering strategies to foster a supportive, engaging environment. Participants will explore how to provide meaningful materials and experiences that promote learning while understanding the unique needs of each child. Key topics include creating opportunities for children to share input in shaping their environment, supporting conflict resolution through problem-solving, and teaching children how to express emotions and feelings safely. The session will also highlight creative outlets to help children manage emotions and enhance their self-expression in a positive, constructive manner.
